Sizing
The mount comes in three sizes to suit those with chunkier or leaner thighs. Measure the width of your leg (straight across) and select the closest size. The mount is slightly flexible and will bend to fit you.
For the large size, ~380mm velcro straps are recommended (see link below). For small, ~300mm will be more suitable.
If you order here, you will receive both lengths of strap no matter the size you order.

Securing your camera
For additional security, you should tie your camera to your harness. This protects against a failure of the mount, screw or camera attachment.
- Take a spare piece of line and tie it to the camera
- Pass it through the lanyard holes on the knee mount
- Make a loop on the end of the line
- Each time you clip in, pass your leg strap through the loop on the end of the line.
This also prevents the camera from slipping down your leg.
Print it yourself
This design is open hardware, and you can download the files here if you would like to print the mount yourself on a 3D printer.
